Sizing Guide

We try our best to be as accurate as possible; but please leave 1-3 cm margin of error. We also assume what size a piece of clothing is if there is no label. Even so, please check the measurements. We measure items, clothing specifically, laid flat. You can compare measurements by grabbing a similar piece of clothing (if it's a dress you are interested in, grab a dress you already own), lay it flat and measure away.   

 

T-shirts, Blouses and Tops:

Length: from the neck hem to the bottom hem, vertically.

 

Chest: across the armpit area, horizontally. 

Shoulder: across shoulder seams, horizontally.

 

Sleeve: from shoulder seam to sleeve opening.

 

Skirts:

Length: from top of waistband to bottom hem, vertically.

 

Waist: across top of the waistband, horizontally. we measure this once only and not the circumference.

 

Hip: widest part of the skirt, typically 7-9 inches below the natural waistband.

 

Bottom hem: measure across bottom hem. we measure this once only and not the circumference.

 

Pants, Shorts and Bottoms:

 

Length: top of the waistband to the bottom hem, vertically. measured on the outer edge.

 

Waist: across top of the waistband, horizontally. we measure this once only and not the circumference.

 

Hip: widest part of the pants, typically 7-9 inches below the natural waistband.

 

Front seam: top of the waistband to the bottom of the front crotch seam, vertically.

 

Back seam: on the back, measure the top of the waistband to the back crotch seam, vertically.

 

Inseam: from the crotch seam all the way straight to the bottom hem. 

 

Dresses:

Length: from the neck hem to the bottom hem, vertically.

 

Chest: across the armpit area, horizontally. 

 

Shoulder: across shoulder seams, horizontally.

 

Sleeve: from shoulder seam to sleeve opening.

 

Waist: the narrowest part of the dress' midsection. 

 

Hip: widest part of the dress, typically 7-9 inches below the natural waistband.

 

Please note that on dresses, we will put "free " on waist and hips measurements if the item is loose, oversized or flowy in style.
